Rick and Joanne both had their own professions, but what began as a part-time charity activity has turned into an exciting adventure.

We started as pickers, with my main passion being vintage cameras, and we spent our weekends exploring various estate sales. About 12 years ago, purely by chance, we hosted a mini estate sale for a charity organization called the Youth Educational Sports Scholarship, which supports at-risk youth in sports. The organization had accumulated numerous donated items and needed assistance turning them into funds. Perhaps due to beginner's luck, the sale was a huge success. This experience encouraged us to conduct more sales on weekends as donations came in, and we’ve never looked back since.

Hosting estate sales exposed us to the other side of this market. We began engaging with donors and clients and soon discovered that we enjoyed being in this environment—not just for the antiques and precious items but for the stories behind them. Each item carried a piece of history, connecting yesterday to today and shaping tomorrow. After 12 years, we have grown into a business dedicated to estate liquidation services, sharing the stories of once-cherished items with others who will appreciate and love them.
